JOSEF KA IN AMERICA // FULL REPORT // FALL 2023

At the end of 2022 i was invited to participate in a performance art festival in US 

IMMERSIVE LIVE ART TOUR, curated by Cai Qing

In the middle of May 2023 I  got a wonderful news 

Same time I was invited by Hector Canonge to perform in another gallery in New York 

I was extremely thrilled to present my big performance –  I Am Edith Sodergran –  at Rosekill artfarm, Kingston –  performance was supported by several Finnish foundations.  

Also i showed 2 more performances  at Rosekil 

In NYC I made several site specific performances 

And kept on working on my omgoing project –  The Corner 

At Grace Exhibition Space I showed two performances 

In Philadelphia as a curator I showed a video program

HEART ATTACK FILM FESTIVAL

And also I presented my performance I am Edith Sodergran in the oldest art gallery of Philadelphia

Meanwhile, I was honored to be invited as a visiting artist at the University of Delaware, one of the oldest universities in the United States.

I am extremely grateful for the support of the Finnish Cultural Foundation, to all the curators, artists and audience.
